Testimonials
At the beginning of our path towards Wilderness Therapy, to say I was skeptical about this type of program would be somewhat generous… We knew that we were pretty much out of options …After 12 weeks away in the wilderness, we brought our daughter home. We enrolled her in an IOP for aftercare. She was willing to continue working on herself, her issues and our relationship. The funds and resources provided by STLF, during and post-Wilderness have helped make all of this possible. I cannot imagine how we could have financially managed all of this. Our daughter is now on track to graduate from high school in a few weeks. We are seeing so many positives with her, it’s almost unbelievable. She has acquired skills and been given tools that she didn’t have before we started down this path. Thank you STLF and to all of the people who have made this possible.

Sky’s the Limit (Fund) provided an opportunity for our family to begin the healing process that would not otherwise have been accessible to us…At every point in the process we were met with kindness, grace, and a genuine desire to help…It is not an exaggeration to say that your help and support changes lives. Thank you.

I am extremely grateful that I had the opportunity to attend a wilderness therapy program because it allowed me to grow as a person both physically and emotionally. I climbed mountains that I never imagined that I would have been able to conquer and through this, I gained confidence in myself. Also…I grew to love myself and began to value myself more. This experience gave me the tools that I needed in order to continue to work on myself as a person so that I can succeed as an individual in the wilderness of the world.
