Sky’s the Limit Fund is proud to announce the appointment of Mike Ferguson as its new Executive Director. Sky’s the Limit Fund’s mission is to transform the lives of youth in crisis and their families by providing access to wilderness therapy programs, coaching services to guide families during the transition home, and outreach to educate the community on the benefits of wilderness therapy.
Ferguson comes to Sky’s the Limit Fund with a strong background in wilderness therapy programming from an educational consulting perspective. Ferguson was the owner and lead consultant of FBHC Advisors in Santa Monica for the past 12 years, providing education consulting and crisis communications. Prior to that, he was a Clinical Outreach Manager at CRC Health Group in Los Angeles, and the Admissions Director for Assistance in Recovery in Minneapolis.
“I couldn’t be more excited to join Sky’s the Limit Fund and continue their mission of helping families remove finances as a barrier to a therapeutic wilderness program”, said Ferguson. “As this generation of young folks deals with crisis after crisis, we’re going to see a need to help make programs more affordable, and I couldn’t be happier to go all in towards those efforts. I’m thrilled to help carry Sky’s the Limit Fund’s mission and help even more families through incredibly difficult times”, Ferguson added.
“We are delighted to have Mike join our team and we look forward to Mike applying his previous knowledge and expertise, as well as his warm, welcoming personality to lead Sky’s the Limit Fund in growing and expanding our support for teens and families through wilderness therapy”, said Lisa O’Hearn Keck, Sky’s the Limit Fund Board President.
