Tristan Hunter came into this world as a fortune baby and immediately started to spread his light. He was Fearless, Passionate, Funny and loved to make the world laugh. His eyes twinkled, his smile was infectious, he embraced you with authentic Love. Tristan loved Life and at a very young age demanded to play the drums and to learn the electric guitar. He was not that thrilled that I had put him in chess class. He went on to achieve great success as a musician, Berkeley Carroll bands, ICE Middle School Jazz Band, Jazz at Lincoln Center (Middle School and HS) and being invited to participate in Juilliard’s inaugural summer Junior Jazz Academy, supported and encouraged by his long-time drum teacher. His journey continued with his persona as Trizzy Flocko. For a moment he had the desire to become a psychiatrist to help youth struggling with life’s challenges, but school was just not his thing…Most recently, Tristan Hunter continued his creative expression through food with the loving support of his culinary family. Once again excelling at something with passion and dedication, aspiring to ultimately attend the top culinary schools here and around the world.
Siddhartha and Buddhism were significant guideposts on his path to Self. Tristan lived in the moment – he didn’t want to miss a thing. Grounded in his connection to the universe, wanting raw, honest, truth. He was impatient with the state of the world and hungered for the Experience. Willing to risk, believing he could control the consequences.
A brilliant mind, he touched infinite hearts. He was pure, powerful and intense energy, embracing the unique wholeness of the individual being with no judgement. He had your back. His world was immense, and he lived on his own terms. His family and friends will miss his light but will carry it in their hearts.
Your mama Loves you to the moon and back.
